I like to start by parting my hair in two high pigtails. You can create a part down the center of your head with the rattail comb or by separating with you hands for a more natural look. I like to make my buns a little messy so it can be more fun and edgy.

I generally use this time to manipulate my bun into place. Simply repeat these steps on the other side of your head and fashion them into place so that both buns match. Like your eyebrows, your buns don’t have to be twins, they can be sisters, so don’t feel too pressured to make them look identical and perfect.
